Time to Get Into Healthcare
CNBC ran numerous segments on Obama picks for healthcare today – and for good reason. The healthcare stocks that have been so week recently are now showing promise. Today’s Fast Money “Halftime Report” had a small segment on good healthcare stocks (at 4:48).
Aside from that, there were some good picks listed in a segment that aired later this afternoon. Good drug companies are Abbot Laboratories (ABT), Johnson & Johnson (JNJ), and Amgen (AMGN). As for laboratory research, your best bets are Beckman Coulter (BEC) and Thermo Fisher Scientific (TMO). The top Healthcare IT stocks are Eclipsis (ECLP), athenahealth (ATHN), and Quality Systems (QSII).
Again, we cannot stress enough that this appears next on the chopping block for the Obama administration. If you’re looking to buy low and sell high, this sector ought to be very interesting to you.
