What Lousy Candidates!
Here at Election Stocks, we always like to investigate links between politics and the stock market. That’s why an article on the Wall Street Journal‘s website caught our attention today. It’s been common knowledge that even with the wide range of candidates in the 2008 election, voters have often felt an extreme dislike for most (if not all) of them.
George Newman links this fact together with the weak markets that, coincidentally enough, started tanking around the same time the presidential race entered its final stages. And although we might not necessarily agree with his claim that “the market is weak because the candidates are lousy,” his article is definitely worth checking out.
