Vice Presidential Choices

Although many believe a VP should be selected with great consideration to how they may behave in the fall election, vice presidents hardly ever swing key states or have a huge impact in the general election. What is more important is how effectively they can help to manage the administration to keep the American people happy and get re-elected four years later.

With this, and the fact that many Americans feel that the economy is the most important issue in the 2008 election in mind, it seems apparent that John McCain would pick a very pro-market and economically stable Vice President.

Perhaps even his old rival, Mitt Romney – electionstocks’ former favorite choice for economic stability. Please view our Mitt Romney category to find more reports on his policies and stances.
