Potential Flaw in McCain’s Healthcare
A major problem with the Republican view that healthcare can be provided through the dropping of current plans to shop for new ones is that most insurance providers try not to offer coverage to those with pre-existing conditions.
He claims that by working closer with individual states with a “Guaranteed Access Plan” people with pre-existing conditions would be able to find coverage. His advisors also protest that there is more to the plan than what you see at face value.
Hat tip and more flaws to “The Folly of McCain-Care.”

You’re completely correct here. McCain’s plan has a fatal flaw and all he says in response to it is that he’s misunderstood. Very typically Republican statement.
