Update on McCain and Defense
Recently Senator McCain has gone in depth on some foreign policy issues and analysts bored with the horse race between Hillary and Obama are beginning to give some of his positions a lot of scrutiny. It seems as good a time as ever to update our old records of McCain’s relations to the market’s defense sector.
Overblown or not, the 100 years in Iraq statement shows a commitment to the military that guarantees growth in this area. Also, it appears McCain is attempting to all but undo previous American attempts to bring China and Russia to a full global scale. Some even say that he’s promoting the military more than any other leader in US History.
These concrete details support an earlier conclusion that John McCain would be very bullish for our listed homeland security and defense stocks.
