March of Dimes

Dr. Ron Paul, the so-called “fringe candidate” by many of the so-called “political pundits,” reported 3rd quarter political contributions in the amount of $5.1 million. Not bad. This would be about McCain territory, and 5X Huckabee territory.

“It’s really fascinating,” Paul said, seeming as surprised with the news as was much of the rest of the political world. “I think the time is right. People are really frustrated — frustrated with both parties, frustrated with the war.”

His message is out there, and people are receiving. War in Iraq? “Just come home,” says Paul. The Center for Responsive Politics said Paul received more campaign contributions from the military that any other Republican candidate.

Even if Ron Paul doesn’t win, some of his ideas might.
