First, Bill Richardson resigned from the Board of Directors of Valero Energy (VLO) in June 2002 to run for Governor of New Mexico.
Then, in June of this year, he sold all of his stock because

Obama got hit by Mitt Romney after this article on Obama and sex ed came out on ABC’s Political Radar.
The LA Times Top of the Ticket has a nice article about how both candidates John Edwards and Barack Obama were out speaking about poverty.
